Piece by piece, Rodney Terry is putting together his first recruiting class, adding a rim protector to UTEP’s roster in the form of Kaosi Ezeagu who gave UTEP a verbal commit today choosing UTEP over Western Michigan, and South Carolina.

The 6’10, 230 pound big man who was born in the Bahamas, and is a Canadian citizen was offered by South Carolina and was still being recruited there. He recently scored 27 points in a Canadian all-star game.

Butler and Western Michigan were also in the mix, but Ezeagu revealed he was down to UTEP, USC and WMU ahead of his official announcement. This past season he averaged 11.4 points, and 10.4 rebounds per game,

How he could fit in Terry’s projected system
