The Jones’ brothers childhood dreams of playing in the NFL together just became one step closer to reality as Alvin Jones signed an un-drafted free agent deal with the Baltimore Ravens just a few hours after the conclusion of the NFL Draft.
Jones was a three-time All C-USA selection, racking up 343 career tackles and 15 sacks. He was a high school quarterback who was recruited to UTEP as a safety, but blossomed as one of the most middle linebackers in the FBS over his four year career.
Stay tuned for more former Miners finding an NFL home on the undrafted free agent wire....
So excited to sign with the Baltimore Ravens blessed beyond measure to get an opportunity of a life time with such a great program it’s only the Beginning #RavensFlock
