UTEP ended a strong recruiting weekend with one more commit late Sunday night as Ray Walters announced his verbal commitment to UTEP’s class of 2018.

The 6’0, 180 pound Walters is From Los Angeles, California and attended Locke High School where he played multiple positions. He’s slated to be a defensive back at UTEP.
Walters was among 11 visitors to wrap up the Miners recruiting weekends leading up to the second National Signing Period which starts on Wednesday.
