SERIES HISTORY

WKU leads the series 3-1. The first meeting was on Dec. 19, 1969 at the Jayhawk Classic in Lawrence, Kan. (the Hilltoppers won 78-59). WKU is 2-1 head-to-head versus the Miners since joining C-USA, with both teams unbeaten on their home floor. WKU topped the Miners during the 2014-15 (71-66 in overtime) and 2016-17 (65-62) seasons, while UTEP successfully defended its homecourt during the 2015-16 campaign (93-89 in overtime).
