Another weekend of hosting visitors leads to a Monday commitment as 2018 high school prospect Andrew Nwachukwu has verbally committed to UTEP.

Nwachukwu took an official visit to UTEP this past weekend, giving UTEP five commits, and one grad-transfer commit for the class of 2018.
The 6’3 195 pound wideout from Wylie, Texas caught 30 passes for 785 yards and eight touchdowns last season as a senior. A three-year varsity player, he totaled 80 career receptions good for 15 career receiving touchdowns for Wylie High School.
247Sports ranks him as a 3-star prospect, holding offers from North Texas, and Prairie View A&M.
UTEP hosted three players this past weekend including Nwachukwu, JUCO defensive back Josh Caldwell, and high school defensive lineman Trevor Szilagyi.
