Both Garrett and Locksley were among six JUCO prospects who visited El Paso this past weekend.
Locksley, a former Texas Longhorn, is the 4th best JUCO dual-threat QB according to 247Sports after running for 20 touchdowns, and throwing 20 touchdowns this past season. The 6’4, 205 signal caller was a four-star prospect coming out of high school and was the NJCAA offensive player of the year last season.
Garrett, 6’1, 190 pounds, caught 38 passes last season for 592 yards, and five touchdowns at Cerritos College. The California native notched a career high 153 yards receiving in the season finale this past fall.
UTEP coaches celebrated their new JUCO weapons on Twitter.
