— Jacob Eyman (@jacob_eymannnn) September 10, 2017
Eyman, 6’8, 215 pounds, was Press-Telegram Dream Team First Team member after a breakout junior year. The senior-to-be from Los Alamitos, California averaged 13.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game in his breakout year.
247Sports gives him a 3-star rating and ranks him as the 34th best player in California. Eyman was also being looked as a possible D-1 men’s volleyball prospect as well.
On the basketball side, he had offers from Hawaii, Eastern Washington, and was drawing interest from a number of Mountain West schools.
UTEP now has two 2018 scholarships locked up, both are power forwards, so going forward UTEP will certainly be in the market for guards to finish the class of 2018.
