Rivals ranks him as a three-star prospect, and he holds offers from Akron, Eastern Michigan, and Southern Miss and a number of other mid-major programs.
Norman was a BCAM Class B All-State selection, and ranked as a Detroit Free Press top 100-boys basketball player. He averaged 21.2 points per game last season as a junior, and has led Godwin Heights to a 68-7 record over the past three seasons.
He visited UTEP back in mid-September and is in the midst of his senior year. It appears UTEP will give him a full release after he signed his LOI on November13th.
