UTEP at UAB: Miners’ depth chart outlook

Winless UTEP faces UAB for the first time in seven years, and will have a new starting quarterback for the season finale.

Ryan Metz was named the starter Monday by Mike Price.

UTEP got some reinforcements at tight end as Josh Weeks returned, but David Lucero appears to be out with a hand injury.

No other changes dot the depth chart, although Ruben Guerra and Jerrod Brooks continue to platoon at right tackle.
