UTEP picked up another 2018 commit as Lamar Norman, a 6’3 shooting guard from Michigan verbally committed to UTEP’s class of 2018.

Norman, is ranked as the 10th best player in the state of Michigan, and the 65th overall shooting guard according to 247Sports.
Rivals ranks him as a three-star prospect, and he holds offers from Akron, Eastern Michigan, and Southern Miss and a number of other mid-major programs.
Norman was a BCAM Class B All-State selection, and ranked as a Detroit Free Press top 100-boys basketball player. He averaged 21.2 points per game last season as a junior, and has led Godwin Heights to a 68-7 record over the past three seasons.
He visited UTEP back in mid-September and is entering his senior year.
