UTEP picked a pair of 2018 commits late Sunday night, adding to the class of 2018.
Avery Martinez, a 6’5 wing originally from Costa Rica committed, along with 6’8 power forward Teddy Ochieng.
Both attend Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary High School in California, and both are willing defenders giving the Miners three 2018 commits and a Prop 48 commit for the class of 2018.
Martinez was a second-team Whittier Daily News All-Area Boys Basketball selection last season. Ochieng was a member of the Ugrana U-18 basketball team where he was a main key to their success.
