According to sources, UTEP and Tim Floyd hosted three recruits on official visits over the weekend, and also offered three JUCO guards on Sunday
Point guard Hyron Edwards, and shooting guards Amaad Wainright and Josh Stamps all reported UTEP offers on Twitter within hours of each other on Sunday.
Edwards was an ESPN four-star prospect coming out of high school, and could now become a major 2017 target for UTEP to replace senior guard Dominic Artis.
Stamps is from Chicago, and is a Rivals three-star rated prospect. Wainright hails from Kansas City, Missouri, and attend Trinity Valley CC where new assistant coach Kris Baumann came from.
We are unable to officially confirm if the trio of guards were the official visitors hosted by Tim Floyd and his staff, but it safe to assume they all were here, but the Miners have another visitor on the way.
2017 JUCO forward Josh Boutte tweeted that he is headed to El Paso for an early week official visit, and does plan to sign early after his decision.
