UTEP Basketball officially updates 2016-17 roster

With the final piece added for the 2016-17 season, we now finally have an official roster.

After the UTEP Athletic department officially announced the addition of Canadian guard Isiah Osborne, the official 2016-17 roster was released on the UTEP Athletics website.

One unknown newcomer is presumed walk-on Hudson Urbanas who is now a Miner and is listed as a freshman. Urbanas, an Austin, Texas native graduated from Bowie High in 2015 and was named to the 14-6A all-district team in his senior year.

UTEP’s 2016 freshman had their numbers assigned as well.

Deon Barrett will wear #23, Chris Barnes will wear #5, Tim Cameron will wear #3, Adrian Moore will wear #4, and Kelvin Jones will wear #54.

Paul Thomas will switch numbers and wear #22 this season, and Isiah Osborne will wear #20.

Thomas is now listed at 200 pounds, and Trey Touchet and Dominic Artis are now listed at 190 pounds.

Matt Willms is also listed as a junior, meaning he was granted an extra year of eligibility as expected.
