A handful of former UTEP men’s and women’s basketball players have signed pro contracts overseas over the past week or so.
Former UTEP guard Earvin Morris has signed a pro deal with Tadamon Zouk in Lebanon after a solid showing this summer in a prospect camp in Las Vegas.
Morris was of course one of the Miners top scorers over the past two seasons, and according to their team website the new season starts in January.
Meanwhile Morris’ backcourtmate last season Lee Moore has signed a rookie tryout period contract with Gremani Basket Brescia in Italy.
On the women's side, 6'4 post Agata Dobrowolska signed with CD Zamarat in Spain, Rudiane Eduardo signed a deal with Agrupacion Deportiva Alives in also based in Spain.
Former point guard Starr Breedlove will join Dobrowolska with CD Zamarat in Spain.
Also earlier this month, after a year in D-League, Julian Washburn has signed to play in Germany for Tubungen following a stint in the NBA Summer League circuit.
Julyan Stone was also featured in the NBA Summer League and has been added to Indiana Pacers training camp roster.
