With a little more than a week from the start of the late signing period, getting a commit from Reinhardt could be a major win on the 2016 recruiting trail this weekend.
Reinhardt has trimmed his list of landing spots to Marquette, Alabama, VCU, Uconn, Xavier, Providence, UTEP and Texas.
ESPN ranked him as the #5 available transfer on the market.
Rumors are swirling around comment threads, and message boards about the Miners possibly losing a guard after Christian Romine officially announced his intent to transfer yesterday.
Those rumors have yet to be officially confirmed, but it sets the stage for an interesting next couple of weeks as UTEP looks to shore up the roster for the 2016-17 season.
