Johnson, a 6'6 wing was recently named the Louisiana Sports Writers Association's 3A Outstanding Player, as well as a spot on the Class 3A All-State team after a strong senior season.
The versatile Johnson averaged 21.8 points, and 8.3 rebounds per game last season for University High, leading them to consecutive state championships.
He's seen his stock rise over the past calendar year, and was on the same AAU team last summer as 2016 five-star prospect Malik Monk in where Johnson averaged double figure scoring numbers last summer on Nike's EYBL Circuit.
Southern Miss., Tulane, FIU, and UT Martin have all offered the consensus 3-star prospect.
