UTEP Basketball: Tim Floyd shows interest in 2016 6'9 forward Adrean Johnson

UTEP hit the DFW for their latest possible target.

According to Hoop DFW which covers prep basketball in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Tim Floyd will conduct a home interview in Dallas with 2016 forward Adrean Johnson tonight.

Johnson, a 6'9, 215 pound forward from Dallas, Texas has offers from Middle Tennessee, Tulsa, LA Tech, and North Texas and will visit UT-Rio Grande Valley next week.

He averaged 18.6 points and 9 rebounds to go along with 75 blocks this past season for Red Oak High School.  Johnson was named first team all-District 14-5A the same District UTEP signee Deon Barrett and Lancaster competed in.

It is unsure if UTEP has officially offered or plans to offer, but the Miners continue to seek front court options for the class of 2016.
