Oregon knocked off Utah for the third time this season on Wednesday night to advance to the quarterfinals of the WNIT. After shooting under 30 percent from three in three losses prior to the WNIT, the Ducks are shooting 52.2 percent (36-of-69) so far from deep in the tournament. Oregon is the best three-point shooting team in the nation this year at 41.9 percent. In the win vs. Utah, Lexi Bando poured in 34 points, her second-highest output of the season. The guard is averaging 20.7 points per game in the WNIT.

UTEP looks to keep their dream WNIT ride alive against the most talented team they've faced in Oregon.  The Miners big three, Cameasha Turner, Jenzel Nash, and Starr Breedlove combined for 61 points in the round of 16 win against TCU.  UTEP is forcing 20.8 turnovers per game this season. and 11.7 steals per game on the year.  The Miners will need frontcourt production from 6'4 Tamara Seda, and 6'3 Agata Dobrowolska to counter Oregon's 6'3 post Jillian Alleyne who averages 19.0 points, and 13.6 rebounds per game this season.
