2016 JUCO guard Perris Hicks, and 2016 high school center Roman Silva announced via Twitter that UTEP has extended offers in the past 24 hours.

Silva, 7'1, 250 pounds, won a 3A State Title for Diamond Ranch High School in Pamona, California this past season, and averaged 18.6 points per game, 10.8 rebounds per game, and also blocked 95 shots this past season.

He was also offered by Campbell a few weeks ago, and actually played in El Paso this past season in the McDonald's Classic back in early December with Diamond Ranch High.

Hicks had a breakout sophomore season this past season, playing in 30 games and averaging 17.1 points per game.   The 6'2 guard shot 48.4 percent from the field, and 40.3 percent from 3-point land last season.  He also averaged five assists for the season, and shot 52.4 percent from the field in league play.

The 2016 signing period starts on April 13th.
