UTEP Basketball: 2016 signees celebrate season ending championships

Both Tim Cameron and Deon Barrett brought home hardware to their respective schools.

On Wednesday, Tim Cameron and Hargave Military Academy wrapped up the post grad National Championship.  Then on Saturday afternoon, Deon Barrett won back-to-back 5A Texas State titles with Lancaster High School.

Cameron was a versatile producer for Hargrave as they complied a 47-1 record this season, and ended the season on a 29-game win streak.

The 6'4 combo guard won a Georgia State Title in 2013, and is doing his post grad year for basketball development purposes.

Barrett ends his high school career as one of the winnigest players in Texas High School hoops history.  He's been apart of 121 wins as a four year varsity starter.  He scored 12 points, knocking down three 3-pointers in today's 67-64 title clincher against Fort Bend-Elkins.
