UTEP Football: Chris Hunter flips to Idaho, Caylin Parker chooses Darthmouth

UTEP lost a last minute commit to Idaho, and another target to Darthmouth.

John Reed-USA TODAY Sports

Idaho Football announced that 2016 prospect Chris Hunter has flipped from his UTEP commitment and signed with their program.

Hunter, recruited to play linebacker at UTEP committed to the Miners over the weekend as a linebacker,  but will play wide receiver at Idaho.

He visited UTEP over the weekend, and committed to UTEP along with two other Washington prospects and UTEP signees Jared Goldwire and Tiano Tiavalea.

The reason for the flip could be Hunter wanting to play wide out instead of on the defensive side of the ball which he was projected to play and immediately help UTEP.

Parker signed with Darthmouth this morning, and a soon to be announced coaching change could be the reason for his choice.

Sean Kugler is set to announce a 2016 recruiting class of 24 prospects.
