Adrian Moore leaves the UTEP Basketball program

After UTEP’s latest loss at the hands of Northwestern State, head coach Tim Floyd revealed that freshman guard Adrian Moore has left the program.

“Adrian Moore is no longer with our team.” Floyd said after Saturday’s game. “There was no minutes for him on this team, and he wanted some playing time. And his mother was recently diagnosed with a with a serious, serious illness and they talked after the Southeast Louisiana game and Adrian came to me and said ‘coach I’m so far away from home I feel like I need to be closer to my mother and what’s going.”

Moore signed with UTEP in late April as UTEP was scrambling to find a guard after Lee Moore declared to go pro.

The Little Rock, Arkansas native appeared in just one game this season for UTEP.
