UTSA makes their first ever bowl appearance against UTEP’s rival the New Mexico Lobos.
The Lobos boast one of the top rushing attacks in the FBS utilizing their triple-option look. UTSA’s defense was one of the top units in C-USA, and will look for a full turnaround under first year head coach Frank Wilson.
Southern Miss will face Louisiana-Lafayette later on Saturday as C-USA opens their 2016 bowl slate.
