UTEP Women's Basketball: Miners pick up three votes in AP Top 25 preseason poll

Despite a number of newcomers, and graduation to key players from last season, the UTEP Women's Basketball team earned some preseason national respect.

Keitha Adams and her group have been hard at work the past few weeks, and today they picked up three votes in the preseason AP Top 25 poll.

UTEP would be ranked 38th with their three votes, and was the only C-USA school to pick up votes.

Notre Dame, Baylor, and UConn are the top three teams in nation according to the AP Poll.

UTEP starts their exhibition season this Friday against St. Mary's in the Don Haskins Center.
