UTEP Football: Sean Kugler goes all out in final official visit weekend

Sean Kugler and his staff rolled out the orange carpet for fifteen 2016 prospects.

Sean Kugler has already hit a few recruiting home runs for the class of 2016, but appears to be using an important full court press to quickly round out the class this weekend with up to 15 recruits on campus.

Here is who has confirmed their visit to El Paso this weekend.

  • Kevin Dove, RB, El Campo, Texas (UTEP Commit)
  • Jared Goldwire, DL, Kent, Washington
  • Chris Hunter, OLB, Tacoma, Washington
  • Tiano Tialavea, NG, Seattle, Washington
  • Caylin Parker, OLB, Belle Chasse, Louisiana
  • Joseph Tyrone Pickney, DB, Crosby, Texas
  • Keith Moore, DE, Bremerton, Washington
  • Antonio Dupree, RB, Baltimore, Maryland (UTEP Commit)
  • Walter Dawn Jr, WR, Mesquite, Texas (UTEP Commit)
  • Amorama Noel, TE, Houston, Texas (UTEP Commit)
  • Ronald Awatt, RB, Lubbock, Texas
  • Keith Sullivan, DE, Houston Texas
Defensive end target Keith Moore will make his decision on Sunday between UTEP, Portland State, and Eastern Washington.

Wolfforth-Frienship running back Ronald Awatt is a teammate of UTEP defensive back commit Broderick Harrell, and was thought to be a preferred walk-on with the initial interest, but was officially offered during his visit on Saturday.

UTEP's defensive line numbers are more than likely going to be down this year with the switch in defensive scheme.  Although Keith Sullivan (6'7, 235lbs) a defensive end from Houston, who has offers from Iowa State, North Texas Tech, UTSA, and Boise State becomes another must have on the defensive side.

The other three visitors have yet to be confirmed.

A big Saturday and final weekend of visits started off with a bang with two head turning offensive commitments, but the push for defensive depth, and instant impact on the defensive side is the focus until Wednesday.

Here are a few of the potential future Miners showing UTEP love on Twitter.
