UTEP Basketball: Charting The Miners

Outside of shooting percentage, and rebounds, the box score doesn't really tell who is doing what, or what trends a team has.

The most impressive thing about this chart of UTEP basketball stats, Jake Flaggert and a handful of others who are not scared to take a charge.

Terry Winn is another player who Tim Floyd said is learning to take charges, but Flaggert just might lead the nation in this category, and Floyd praised Flaggert on his charge taking ablitlies on his radio show earler in the week.

Another impressive mark is Lee Moore's ability to deliver three-point plays.  Moore has 13 on the season, but most have came in big spots where buckets where needed.

Other notable marks, Omega Harris' three-pointers made streak, UTEP is pretty good on fast breaks, and Terry Winn and Hooper Vint are the usual options in scoring the first points of games.
