Series Notes:

• UTEP is 5-0 all-time against FIU and 3-0 since the Panthers joined Conference USA for the 2013-14 season.  This includes an 83-71 victory in the quarterfinals of the 2015 C-USA Championships in Birmingham.

• The Miners knocked off FIU on Feb. 15, 2014 in El Paso (84-71), and followed that up with a 67-64 triumph in Miami on Feb. 7, 2015.  UTEP also beat FIU during the 1998-99 and 1999-2000 seasons in El Paso and Miami.
