In another twist, it appears that Ken Flajole will not be heading to El Paso to become the new defensive coordinator for the Miners after all.
Sources indicated to MinerRush that Flajole would not be coming to UTEP after receiving a last minute offer to become an assistant with the Philadelphia Eagles, and it was confirmed by Sean Kugler at the coaches' introductory presser.
Flajole has bounced around the NFL for the better part of the last two decades, and it was only a matter of time before the coach was back coaching on Sunday's.
UTEP head coach Sean Kugler did say that he already has a plan in place, and will be interviewing as early as this weekend.
