With this season marking the 50th anniversary of the 1966 Texas Western National Championship, it's only right to share a legendary defensive drill video featuring THE Don Haskins that is making its way around the UTEP internet circles.
Tim Floyd still uses some of the drills shown today with his current team, as well some of the terminology.
Best quote from coach Haskins: "Good defense, is team defense"
The video was uploaded back in 2010 on UTEP's official YouTube page, and is the only believed audio of Haskins breaking down his defensive principles.
It also appears its a ad-driven video sponsored by Coca-Cola, which makes this even more classic.
