Rockwall defensive end/H-back Luke Termin announced last night that he has verbally committed to Sean Kugler and the UTEP Miners.
Glad to say I am committed to play at the University of Texas at El Paso. #GoMiners

Termin, 6'1.5 235, has been on varsity since his freshman year at Rockwall High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and has spearheaded one of the toughest defenses in the DFW over the past two seasons.
According to ESPN.com, Termin runs a 5.14 40-time, and received a 72.18 SPARQ rating.
He has played both linebacker and weak side end in his high school career, and also has played H-Back on offense showing he has versatile stock to fill needs UTEP may have at those positions.
UTEP will need some depth along the defensive line after this season, so we would project him as a defensive end as of now, but has the ability to play multiple positions with his size, physicality, and overall potential giving his commitment a high value as his position has not been officially set by the coaching staff.
Before this current season started he had 9.5 TFL's, 10 QB hurries, 80 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown in high school career according to Rockwall's Max Preps website.
In three games so far this season, Termin has nine total tackles, with three tackles for loss, two sacks, and two pass breaks up, playing both defensive end and H-back for Rockwall.
Termin is the sixth 2016 UTEP verbal commit we have been able to confirm. UTEP has 14 available scholarships for 2016, but plans to sign at least 20 prospects.
