Head coach Sean Kugler ruled out senior running back Jeremiah Laufasa, and junior wide receiver Brandon Moss today ahead of Sunday's final scrimmage in Ruidoso.
Tough blow for Moss who separated his shoulder in Tuesday's scrimmage and could miss the opener.
Moss could be possibly getting passed up on the depth chart due to his injury and by the way sophomore Tyler Batson and junior Cole Freytag have performed during camp.
Laufasa is being held out for precautionary reasons according to coach Kugler.
Alvin Jones has made his way back to the practice field, but will also be held out of Sunday's scrimmage.
The freshman class stole the show once again on Friday, with running back Treyvon Hughes having an overall impressive camp, and solidifying himself legit carries behind Aaron Jones this season.
Kavika Johnson again drew praise from Kugler after practice, and quarterback Ryan Metz once again put his juice on displaying in breaking a long touchdown run, again.

Cole Freytag along with Hughes could be considered one of the stars of Camp Ruidoso, as he continued to make big plays on Friday as well.

Center Eric Lee was back at practice working with the first team again as Kugler also discusses the growth of the offensive line since he's took over in the after practice interviews.
In today's player interviews we hear from converted offensive lineman Christian Harper who now puts his hand in the ground on the defensive side of the ball.
We also hear from Mack Leftwich who gives high praise to the skill position players he has been working with.
