UTEP basketball: Roster officially updated

The UTEP Athletics website has officially released the 2015-16 basketball roster.

Nothing surprising was unveiled, but for the first time the UTEP basketball roster for the 2015-16 season is pretty much official.

13 scholarship players and five walk-ons comprise the newly released roster.   Teammate of both Brodricks Jones, and Chris White at Lawndale High School in Los Angeles, Tedric Johnson who is a guard has also been officially added as a walk-on.

UTEP will have quite a number of practice bodies to go along with a full roster of scholarship players.

Ivan Vinegas, a 6'8 forward from Chihuahua, Mexico is also present, as is LOI signee Josh McSwiggan who would still need to officially enroll at UTEP here in the coming days.

Paul Thomas is listed as 6'8, Terry Winn is now listed at 230 pounds, and Brodricks Jones is listed as a 6'10 forward, while Christian Romine officially checks in at 6'9, 200 pounds.

No jersey numbers were listed as of yet, but we do know Dominic Artis will wear number one.

Kelvin Jones who also signed with UTEP during the late period is a Prop 48 student-athlete meaning he would not be eligible until after this upcoming season.  He is considered a 2016 signee.

Official practice for the 2015-16 season is slated to begin in early October.
