UTEP football: Practice interviews 8/10

UTEP gears up for their first scrimmage of camp tomorrow.

Nick Usher, and JUCO transfer Elliot Oldham answered a few questions after Monday's practice which was the first full padded practice of the year.

Usher is entering his second season as a full-time starter at defensive end, and you can feel the real sense of team unity there is among the entire team as he talks about tomorrow's scrimmage.

Oldham is trying to work his way up the wide receiver depth chart while still learning the system and adapting to his new scenery.  The 6'4 wideout also talks about maximizing his reps in the upcoming scrimmage as these next few scrimmages will be critical for receivers trying to crack the receiver rotation.

The Miners will go through their first full scrimmage of the fall tomorrow morning, they will also hold a scrimmage this coming Sunday which will end UTEP's stay in Ruidoso and will be another important checkpoint of fall practices.
