Former UTEP teammates John Bohannon and Julian Washburn will battle for NBA roster spots against each other tomorrow morning in Orlando.

Washburn who is listed on the Detroit Pistons Summer League roster will open his NBA Orlando Pro Summer League session against the Orlando Magic’s white team which features fellow UTEP alum John Bohannon.

Bohannon played in the Magic organization last season with their D-League affiliate the Erie Bayhawks, and had a solid rookie season in the D-Leauge, seeing his minutes and production increase during the course of last season and appears to have a legit shot at an invite to fall training camp with a strong summer showing.

Washburn will play alongside former Arizona star Stanley Johnson with the Pistons, also on the Pistons roster is Adonis Thomas who played at Memphis. Washburn will also play for the defending NBA Champs Golden State Warriors in the Las Vegas Summer League.

The cable channel NBA TV will be televising the game at 9:00 a.m. Mountain time, click the link for the channel in your area.
