Former Miners Julyan Stone and John Bohannon will both be on NBA Summer League rosters during two of the three upcoming NBA Summer League sessions.

Bohannon, who played with the Erie Bayhawks, an NBA D-League affiliate of the Orlando Magic this past season will compete on the Magic’s white team, and his first game is slated for this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Eastern in Orlando.

The 6’11 Bohannon appeared in 49 games for Erie in his first D-League season, averaging 9.0 points per game, and 8.3 rebounds per game, and collecting 12 points and rebounds double-doubles on the season.

Meanwhile, Julyan Stone will play with the Sacramento Kings summer league team in Las Vegas starting July 10th.  Sacramento starts a mini-camp for their summer league team on July 7th.

For what its worth, Sacramento was the Las Vegas NBA Summer League champions last summer.

Stone played in Italy this past season, averaging 7.1 points per game, 7.6 rebounds per game, and 4.1 assists per game leading Umana VE to a 22-8 regular season record and a deep playoff run in the highest level of pro ball in Italy.

The 27-year old Stone has appeared in 47 NBA regular season games and four playoff games, playing two seasons with the Denver Nuggets, and one with the Toronto Raptors.

Stone and Bohannon join Julian Washburn and Vince Hunter on the NBA Summer League circuit for 2015.

Also getting a NBA Summer League shot is McKenzie Moore who will play with the Milwaukee Bucks Summer League Team.

Moore played overseas in New Zealand in what should have been his senior year at UTEP this past season, averaging 21.6 points per game, and was an MVP candidate in his overseas league.
