According to the Daily Bulletin, recent UTEP commit Wesley Hill has flipped his pledge from UTEP to Fresno State over the past week.
Hill was being recruited by UTEP as a linebacker, and his high school coach told the Daily Bulletin he was looking to play running back which is where Fresno State wants him to play.
Meanwhile UTEP added some defensive depth with JUCO linebacker Tyler Leasau from San Mateo JC committing to the Orange and Blue last week.
Leasau, a Livermore, California native has spent the past two seasons at San Mateo appearing in 10 games. At 6'2 220 pounds, he runs a 4.7 in the 40-yard dash and is slated for a preferred walk-on spot with two years of eligibility left.
UTEP starts fall camp on August 6th in Ruidoso, New Mexico, with the season opener looming on September 9th at Arkansas.
