The UTEP Athletics website updated the 2015 football roster with a couple of El Pasoans added as walk-ons.
Running back Ricky Olivas who starred the past few seasons at Austin High, and Chrys Ortega an offensive lineman from Franklin High School are now listed on the roster.
Olivas will wear number 28 while Ortega will wear 59.
Deep snapper Fowler Freund from El Paso High School is also a new name on the roster, UTEP will be in need of a long snapper after this season.
Also added were two members of the class of 2015, and a preferred walk-on.
Defensive back Omar Lloyd from Tucson, Arizona is listed as number 45. Defensive lineman Christian Richardson from Hesperia, California will be number 98. Both are 2015 scholarship signees.
Offensive lineman Robert Pufahl was also officially added to the roster, Pufahl went to Oak Christian School in Westlake Village, California and is a preferred walk-on.
All the new editions to the roster are true freshman.
UTEP kicks off the season September 5th in SEC country against Arkansas.
