The C-USA Board of Directors approved the return of the C-USA Men's and Women's basketball tournaments to Birmingham in 2016.
It will be the fourth time Birmingham and UAB have hosted either the Men's or Women's basketball championship.
The Board also announced that all 14 teams will be participating this year on both the women's and men's bracket, last year the top-12 teams in the conference standings clinched a spot.
The tournament will start March 8th, and end Saturday March 12th, games will once again take place at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center, and Bartow arena.
"Birmingham is a wonderful location for our basketball championships," C-USA Commissioner Britton Banowsky said. "We appreciate the two great arenas and the city's proximity to many of our fans. The downtown development is impressive, but most of all, we appreciate the spirit of the community. We look forward to another great tournament week in 2016."
The league also announced championship sites for other sports listed below.
