Per ESPN Insider’s Jeff Goodman, and Jeff Borzello the move we expected has now been reported, Lew Stallworth will transfer.
Stallworth had been suspended indefinitely since a return from a road trip in early March.
The report does not specify on where Stallworth plans to transfer.
He appeared in 19 games this past season, averaging 4.6 minutes per game as a reserve guard.
The report should not come as a surprise once UTEP signed transfer guard Dominic Artis. It had been rumored that Stallworth was working his way back into good graces with Coach Floyd.
Stallworth was recognized as a C-USA Men’s basketball 2014-15 Commissioner’s Honor Roll recipient for his work in the class room.
