UTEP men's golf team takes their swings at the C-USA Tournament, and the UTEP softball team split a series with Marshall.

The UTEP softball team had an interesting weekend series with the visiting Marshall Thundering Herd.  They split a double header Saturday, and then erased a 7-4 deficit on Sunday to tie things at 7 in the seventh inning before the game was called due to weather. According to UTEP Athletics a discussion on the result with the league office is supposed to take place today.

The UTEP men’s golf team tied for fifth after day one at the C-USA Championships. Roberto Ruiz shot a tournament leading one-under par 71, and rolled six birdies.

Anthony Rotich clocked in a 3:59.93 mile, as both the men’s and women’s track team took home a third place finish at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge.
