UTEP added two more verbal commits today, bringing the verbal commit total to 18, with anywhere between 21-23 expected signees to be announced tomorrow.
We found out today that two defensive lineman, one being a local El Pasoan, are expected to sign with UTEP tomorrow.
Chris Barnwell a 6'3, 200 pound defensive end from El Paso Eastlake is expected to sign via Felix Chavez of the El Paso Times.

Barnwell tallied six sacks this past season, recorded 37 quarterback hurries, and finished with 48 solo tackles.
The Miners are also expected to sign 6'4, 255 pound defensive end Gene Hopkins from Elgin, Texas.
Hopkins currently averages five rebounds per game for Elgin, and led the football team with five sacks, and eight tackles for loss, racking up 54 total tackles this past season. He was in El Paso over the weekend for his official visit.
UTEP lost a 2015 verbal commit when Jonathan Forrest told us he plans to go to a prep school next semester and re-open his recruitment, UTEP will still be a remaining top choice.
Everything becomes official tomorrow as Kugler will address lucky fans, and the media at noon, officially announcing the class of 2015.
