For the second straight year, UTEP will be represented at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

UTEP graduate and former two-year starter at defensive back Kelvin Fisher Jr. will represent UTEP at the 2016 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

Fisher Jr. played two seasons for the Miners and recorded 39 stops, five pass breakups, one interception, one fumble recovered, and one quarterback hurry. During his senior season, he had three games with five or more tackles, two of which led the Miners to back-to-back wins.
