This week we will start with some UTEP basketball talk as 2016 UTEP signee Deon Barrett joins us at the five minute mark.  Barrett talks about his relationship with former Miner John Bohannon, and his journey to a state title and what Miner fans could expect from the talented point guard.

We then talk about Tim Cameron who also signed with UTEP, and hear Tim Floyd's comments on the newest members of the UTEP basketball team.

We'll briefly touch on the Josh McSwiggan situation and discuss what Tim Floyd had to say on the subject.  We then breakdown UTEP's first opponent in Loyola (New Orleans), and look at the initial C-USA Basketball Power Rankings.

After a lengthy basketball discussion, we switch gears to football as UTEP kept themselves in the race for C-USA bowl representation with a big win last Friday.

We look at Old Dominion, and give some keys victory as UTEP looks to end their eastern time zone losing streak in playoff type game.

We also take a look at the C-USA Football Power Rankings as the bowl picture could shape up more after this week.
