According to Eric Bossi from Rivals.com and other sources, UTEP has received a verbal from Georgia native and 6'4 combo guard Tim Cameron.
#UTEP has landed 2016 wing Tim Cameron. Big time defender with offensive pop.

Cameron, a Rivals rated three star prospect, is doing a post grad year at Hargrave Military Academy this season a year after he helped Norcorss High School in his native hometown of Norcross, Georgia to a class 6A title.
Averaging 13 points, nine rebounds, and five steals during the championship run last year, Cameron turned in solid AAU showing over the summer with a gritty nine game performance on the Under Armour Association AAU circuit.
An elite defender, and crafty scorer, Cameron is also looking to study mechanical engineering which could have been a major factor in his decision to choose UTEP.
He had offers from Houston, LA Tech, Ole Miss, and Tennessee and was offered by UTEP back in early September.
UTEP now has two 2016 commits locked in, and had also offered 2016 big man Kevin Morris out of Alabama earlier this week.
For a 5th year prep, Tim Cameron is really young. Doesn’t turn 18 until December. Athletic, tough. Potentially big time score for UTEP.
