Proud to say I have received a offer from UTEP ☑
— Anthony Davis Jr (@TristanClark25) January 3, 2015
Per this tweet, 6'8 2017 F Tristan Clark has been offered by UTEP.
Hailing from Converse, Texas outside of San Antonio, Clark has offers from Rice, and Incarnate Word so far, though is drawing interest from Texas, Baylor, Kansas, and Gonzaga.
His stock, stars, and hype will blow up over the next year or so, and is a name to keep an eye on.
Scout.com featured him back in October, and though he isn't ranked at this point, I would expect him to become a solid 3-star by the end of this year which would be his sophomore year in high school.
Here is a link to his ESPN profile, a scout noted: "Clark is an active and athletic young post player. His advantage is that he is quicker and more athletic than most post players in his age group. He is an effective rebounder and shotblocker."
The coaches are in the heat of filling the 2016 class, but a nice name to follow for 2017, this kid will become a big name in recruiting, hope he becomes a name we write about playing in a Miner uni in the future.
