UTEP officially lost Hunter Thedford a 2015 TE/DE from Comanche, Texas to Smoo this morning 247Sports reported.
Thedford decommitted from UTEP earlier in the week after the Ponies offered, and popped a commitment as a defensive end today, he originally committed to UTEP back in November.
And while the 2015 recruiting class anxiety may start to hit, UTEP is still expecting to sign 13 high school players, and 3 JUCO's along with a high possibility of a QB to fill their 16 available schollys. UTEP is also expecting to have a number of important official visits in the next few weeks with at least 6-8 high school players visiting on January 23rd.
Keep in mind UTEP has about twenty three 2014 freshmen who red-shirted or grey-shirted this past year year along with Boise State transfer and tight end Hayden Plinke.
Kugs holds his cards close to the vest with recruiting so in the words of Aaron Rogers......RELAX.
