The bracket for the 2014 Wooden Legacy tournament was released today, and it includes opening round matchups between UTEP and Princeton, San Diego and Xavier, Long Beach State and Western Michigan, and San Jose State and Washington.
The Miners' contest against Princeton will be the tournament's opener, taking place at 2:00 p.m. ET on Thanksgiving Day (November 27th). Princeton finished 21-9 in 2013-14, but will have to replace the graduated T.J. Bray who was the team's leading scorer (18.7 ppg).
Should the Miners advance past Princeton, they would take on the winner of the San Diego/Xavier contest at 3:30 p.m. ET on Friday the 28th. If they lose, they will face the loser of that contest at 5:30 p.m. ET.
The Miners' opening round contest will be televised nationally by ESPNU, with second and third round games being televised by ESPN2.
