Five times this season Vince was named C-USA freshman of the week, he scored 389 points this season which the third most in a season by a Freshman at UTEP.
He also matched the UTEP record for single points in a game by a freshman twice, dropping 26 against two of the league’s best in LA Tech and Southern Miss.
Hunter was also named to the All-Freshman team as well, averaging 14.5 points per game, and 6.6 rebounds per game, while shooting 56 percent from the field in conference games, he also has five 20-point scoring efforts on the season.
Julian Washburn was also named to the All-C-USA defensive team.
Washburn is one, if not the most versatile defender in the conferences, and in the nation despite not winning defensive player of the year.
Both Hunter and Washburn were also named to the second team All-Conference squad; John Bohannon was tabbed as the third team All-Conference.
