Anthony Rotich and Mark Jackson starred in the Miners 2014 run to the indoor conference championships.
Both won two events on Saturday, and three each in the two day meet that started Friday.
Rotich repeats his 2013 marks in the 5,000m, and 3,000m, and the mile, earning the top crown again in 2014, Rotich ranks 11th nationally in the men's 5,000m.
Jackson had a busy weekend, winning the long jump, triple jump, and 60-meter dash. Jackson is lethal in the triple, he had the fourth best mark in the country coming into the meet.
UTEP entered the meet ranked 16th nationally, and was the lone C-USA school to crack the top-25.
The super athletic duo accounted for 60 of UTEP's 123 team points, way ahead of LA Tech at 77.5, and East Carolina at 71.5.
Head coach Mika Laaksonen was named men's coach of the year, while Rotich and Jackson took home co-Performers of the Meet honors.
Congrats to the Miners for their conference crown!
