UTEP Officials: UTEP-Arizona Game Nearly Sold Out

UTEP Athletics sent a memo saying tickets are pretty much gone for December 19th.

The Miners have a huge task in the form of a rivalry sweep staring at them tomorrow night, though in two weeks from today will face the best team on the schedule in what looks like a sold out Don Haskins Center.

An official release from UTEP says there are a number of "obstructed view seats" that will go on sale Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. at the University Ticket Center in front of the Don.  No phone orders will be accepted, and the price range was not made available in the release.

This past Wednesday they sent something out letting fans know that tickets were going fast, and a sellout is expected as we all expected.

I took this on Monday, and I'm sure those rows of dots are long gone.

UTEP (4-2), will travel up I-10 tomorrow to face the Aggies, host Incarnate Word on Monday, and won't see the game floor until December 16th when they entertain Southeastern Louisiana.

Third ranked Arizona (6-0) will play host to fellow unbeaten Gonzaga tomorrow afternoon (3 p.m. MT ESPN) in the midst of a five game home stand that has Michigan coming up on the docket December 13th.   The game in the Don will mark Arizona's first true road game of the season.
